Imagine this: You want to organise a quality seminar in Barcelona with the help of various specialists from Germany, Italy, the United States and Great Britain. In the afternoon there might be separate workshops. You need interpreters. But how many? How much will it cost? What type of interpretation do you need? Relax. Thanks to my 20 years of experience as a conference interpreter I know the answer.
Contact me for a quote and I’ll tell you the best solution for your event and your budget. Of course, absolutely free and without obligation. Meanwhile, here you will find some basic guidelines for hiring an interpreter.
TYPES OF INTERPRETATION
I am proficient in all types of interpretation: simultaneous, consecutive, chuchotage… If you would like to know which type of interpreting best suits your needs, you can find some more information here. Or simply drop me a mail. I’ll be happy to advise you.
Did you know that in the wake of the Covid pandemic, remote interpreting has become more and more popular? Thanks to advances in interpreting platforms, you can now hold a multilingual seminar with your remote offices online from your head office – with all the guarantees of simultaneous interpreting and at a fraction of the cost of a face-to-face event. Here I show you the most common conference platforms.
AREAS OF EXPERTISE
Company/European Works Councils
European Works Councils are a central part of an interpreter’s work. As such, I have participated not only in countless ordinary meetings, but also in information and consultation procedures, where smooth communication and a deep understanding of the terminology are crucial to the success of the proceedings. I will be happy to provide you with a list of my assignments upon request.
I know every corner of the Seat plant in Martorell, body shop, paint shop, final assembly… and not only that: I have been completely involved in the building process of several models – from the training of the welders to the presentation of the final model. Other plants where I have interpreted are Audi (Ingolstadt), Renault (Valladolid) and VW (Pamplona).
Through my involvement in several Harbour Report events and the translation of Hyundai-Kia‘s technical documentation, I am also very familiar with English-language terminology.
I have also worked for RCD Español Barcelona, FC Basel and the Swiss Football Association.
Some examples of my work as an interpreter are the professional meetings of corporations such as BD Medical, Stryker, Baxter or Getinge, as well as international congresses such as the Congress on Rare Diseases.
